As you might imagine, our up-close-and-personal production at The Barns differs from the one we saw at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Knowing that if we were to put a large pink elephant onstage at The Barns, we’d have to perform the entire opera on its back, we reluctantly let go of the dream. Until Patti* joined us.
