The Metropolitan Opera National Council for the Middle Atlantic Region will be holding auditions for the Washington, DC District on November 6, 2011 at The Barns at Wolf Trap. The auditions are open to singers between 20 and 30 who will be required to be prepared with five arias representing different languages in their original key. The application and eligibility requirements can be found on their website www.moncauditionsma.org or you can call Brian Boyle at 202-321-4329 for further details. The public is invited to listen in free of charge. The schedule of auditions will run approximately from 10 a.m. til 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. til 5 p.m.
