After last night’s beautiful opening of The Rape of Lucretia, we head to D.C. for the next 2 events in The Lucretia Project. Join us!

Hear Lucretia: Saturday, June 11 at 7:30pm
St. Stephen & Incarnation Church
DC Artist Collective Taffety Punk delivers a punk reading of the Shakespeare poem, and singers from Wolf Trap Opera offer excerpts from Handel’s oratorio Lucrezia, Respighi’s opera Lucrezia, as well as a new song by D.C. area composer David Hanlon.

And tomorrow (Sunday, June 12) at 5:30pm we’re back at Wolf Trap for Consider Lucretia – a panel discussion including Lisae C. Jordan of the Maryland Coalition against Sexual Assault, General (Ret.) Lester Lyles, conductor Craig Kier, and members of the Lucretia cast.
